Birch veniks are harvested in spring and summer, so in the warm season they are at their most fragrant. But thanks to proper storage the programme is available year-round — in winter the birch steam is especially pleasant.
04How is "Birch Grove" different from "Traditional"?
"Birch Grove" is built around a single venik and around skin and breathing care: the emphasis is on the birch steam and the soap-and-birch rub-down. "Traditional" is a broader classic ritual with salt foot baths and a bamboo-stick massage.
05Can I add a massage?
Yes, after the programme you can book a full-body massage, a back massage or other SPA treatments from the additional services list — tell the master at the start so the time can be planned.
06How do I book "Birch Grove" and can the visit be moved?
Call, write to us or leave a request on this page — once the time is confirmed, the administrator will ask for a small deposit. The visit can be moved with at least a day’s notice and cancelled at least three days ahead.
07What should I bring and how do I get there?
We prepare the birch veniks, towel, sheets, hat, slippers and toiletries ourselves — you only need a change of underwear. Head to Osokorky, 11A Tsentralna St; the car can go in the parking area by the bathhouse.
